If you know, you know.
If you don’t, it’s quite hard to fully explain the special community that lives out here in The Bridge District. It’s one of friendships, of generations, of lifestyles. It’s one of power-walkers, runners, and cyclists. Park loungers, grillers, and community garden appreciators. Yoga-goers, coffee drinkers, brunch enthusiasts. Beer drinkers, football fans, Mardi Gras celebrators. Poker players, frisbee tossers, art lovers. Bakers, makers, artists, foodies, and oh, so much more.
But wait, have we mentioned the pups?
It’s a common joke among the neighbors that we don’t really know any of the human names, but we all know the dogs’ names (here’s looking at you Max, Walter, Lulu, + Tank). But you know, it’s one of those jokes based on truth :).
We are always looking for ways to share the stories of The Bridge District and celebrate all that our community has to offer. You may have noticed while cruising around the neighborhood that our street pole banners got a facelift. We wanted to tell the story of what’s out here. Here is a tease of what you will find – we didn’t want to give it all away so we are just highlighting a few of our favorites.
Next time you are out on a walk, or driving through the neighborhood, we invite you to look up and take in a little detail from our community.
Enjoy!
